Just a brilliant beer! Bright cloudy gold with a creamy white head that laces the glass beautifully. The nose is intense citrus and it is truly sinus-clearing. Just as intense is the flavor--tropical fruit, citrus--with a incredibly long, luxurious dry finish that didn't quit. A must-quaff!

Appearance: Arrives a cloudy goldenstraw with a one finger head; solid retention and a few shards hand around
Smell: Mango, pineapple, guava, peach and orange citrus tones
Taste: The mango and pineapple emerge right away with the more subtle peach and guava tones underneath; through the middle the orange citrus flavors add a moderately dank bitterness that lingers into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Another good example of Fidens at the top of its hazy game

L -- Opaque golden orange with a finger of dense white head produced with moderate pour. Great retention and lacing
S -- Mango, guava, papaya, yellow peach, white grape, orange sorbet. Very oaty malt profile. Complex, punchy, and oh-so-new Zealand
T -- Tropical hop flavors meld with a light wheaty tartness from the malt bill. Moderate earthy bitterness
F -- Soft yet crisp at the same time
O -- Fidens is what Trillium once was, and this one is a good example of that

My rating for this is notable in that I liked it a lot less than the average punter who scored it. It was recent and also in my lowest percentile of comparative ratings. That should tell you something.

Canned 11/29, poured 12/26 glug glug orange juice thick opaque golden pineapple color, aroma burst of apricot , plum, pear, leavened with lemon tart and pine. Rich, lathered head shining and soaped the sides of the glass. Exuberant tastes of the stone fruits keeps this brew creamy, bright, and mellow sweet. Creamy soft feel. Oh boy, this is a treat!

From a 16oz can purchased at the brewer and dated 09/21–meaning 09/21/22. Features Rakau, Citra and Moteka hops. Lovely dank nose, nice tropical notes and a smooth finish.
