Collaboration beer with our friends at @commonwealthbrewco
Sea Glass and Salt Water Imperial Stout with hazelnut, vanilla bean, coffee, cacao nibs and coconut. For this beer we wanted to push the coconut and chocolate and let the coffee, vanilla and hazelnut shine as accents.

Purchased from Fidens about 2 years ago. Poured from a 1 pint 0.9 fl oz bottle into a tulip glass. No visible bottle date.
L- Pours a viscous black with a thin tan
head.
S- Has a very faint cinnamon aroma which
is curious since cinnamon isn’t listed
on the label.
T- Pretty sweet. Some coffee and coconut
flavors.
F- Very thick. Very delicate carbonation.
O- Solid Imperial Stout on the pastry side.

Viscous black with a short tan head that's thicker around the edges but quickly disperses to an oily surface.
The sea salt seems to pull out the malt's roast a little more than otherwise might be present, as it becomes nearly smoky, especially on the nose. But then taste becomes sweeter than it smells, with notes of cola sassafras or red licorice, or something else that’s hard to put my finger on. With time, it nears blueberry or even those blackberry candies with the small crunchy beads on the outside.
But once our buddy Darren called it a smoked Dr. Pepper, it was game over, man.
