This one is for the Nelson crowd. Introducing DDH Orchid DIPA (Eight Percent) with All Nelson hops from Freestyle Hops. This beer holds the crown for the highest hopping rate we have ever used with all Nelson flowers.

Sweet tropical hoppy, prominent white wine grape, and an orange-tangerine and grapefruit citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows very closely with a Nelson-dank hoppy bitter finish. This is very good! I was just expecting a touch more hop expression on the nose and palate with the DDH treatment. The mouthfeel on this one is good as well but it is behind both Triple Orchid and Orchid IMO. This is enjoyable and ticks the boxes for a Nelson fanboi like myself, but if I had to rank them, it would be Triple Orchid, Orchid, and then DDH Orchid in that order.
