This one pours a moderately hazy dark orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing. It’s certainly presenting like an IPA here, which isn’t great.
This smells like bready malt, with some slightly citrusy hops.
I’ve had some decent non-IPAs in the past from Fidens, but this is not one of them. It’s kind of just muddled and sweet, with too pronounced a hop character here – with hoppy and fruity sweetness instead of the expected spicier, earthier hops I’d want for the style.
This is lighter bodied, but not incredibly drinkable, although it is decently crisp on the finish.
This was really messy, and not really worth a look.
