Can dated 6/4/25

Pours the typical Fiden's yellowish-range with one finger of foamy head. Nose grapefruit, white pepper, orange, hints of pineapple. Taste echos much of the nose, introduces some grassiness and green pepper, but not overbearing. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Finish is grapefruit rind, slight pineyness, and green pepper.

Milky goldenrod with stiff egg white foam that pocks; ganga, lemon jellies, sugared pineapple, and lemon balm on the nose along with a whiff of diesel; Nilla wafer, mango sorbet, nectarines, black pepper, pine, and ganga, smooth, oily, lingering bitterness.

Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron, Riwaka

Looks like old school haze with nice legs, smells 1000 shades of fruit (coconut, somehow?) and drinks lush tropical cut by rye spice then ends dank and scratchy.
I can see Nectaron + Riwaka all over this (passionfruit + grapefruit) - they deliver similar notes - but Fidens is using Nelson in sneaky, MSG ways because I can’t find fingerprints of it in this or Accelerant (at least until some late gooseberry + kiwi comes out when it’s fully open.)
Kiwi hop bomb with a couple of moves, a rye edge, and the usual Fidens quality.

Not quite transcendent, but close.
