On tap at Fidens in Albany.
Golden amber on the pour with a frothy white head on top with minimal lacing. Carbonation looks average to low. Not hazy, looks like a standard IPA.
For a single hop the aroma is quite complex. Pine and berry shine along with melon and some dank. There's a roasted maltiness lingering in the background, but it's subtle.
Taste follows the nose well. Melon, pine, berries, predominantly. Quite a complex hop! A subtle, toasted maltiness to round it out. Not quite balanced, very hop forward. After the swallow there's a lingering melon and pine.
Medium bodied, drinks smooth and clean with moderate carbonation and a bit of chewiness.
Solid brew. I think I prefer their hazies, but this is a great showcase of the hop. Decently balanced, but my stomach tells me not to have too much of this one, a bit acidic. Tasty though. Cheers!
