Copenhagen 5/4 2026. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black and white can with a Satyr hunting on a meadow using a bow and arrows.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a dirty streak and a mid-sized white head. Settles as a paper thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet and boozy odor of overripe tropical fruit mingling with a moe subtle scent of citrus fruit. Sweet fermented mango and papaya. Petroleum. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, smooth, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a noticeable bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is boozy and semi-dry.
Powerful and intense and as strong as Italian wine.
