The Socratic Questioning series has always been about experimentation: asking ourselves what we can do to make our beer not just better, but different. For SQ63, we focused on one of the simplest, yet most important elements of any better: water. We're fortunate to have a healthy water supply for our brewhouse, which gave us a great place to start. This batch was brewed with that same water, just dialed in to to make it a bit softer. We also (of course) topped this one off with some Citra from BC Hop Ranch, Mosaic from Coleman Agriculture, and Galaxy from Haas. The result is a luxuriously drinkable Triple IPA featuring a pillowy mouthfeel and well-balanced bitterness, with notes of citrus, mango, grapefruit, peach and berry.
