Meh. This one was praised by my local beer manager, which is maybe why I'm so disappointed in it. Let me start by saying that this beer is very similar to many of the recent attempted NEIPAs that have been put out by long-established breweries. Recently, 6 Point Brewing (who I love for their Bengali Tiger) has been putting out some of the "cloud", "fuzzy" - insert other pun here - brews that taste just like this one from 12 Percent. Inspired by the likes of Treehouse and similar, I think, these guys are marketing this as a juice bomb. But it's far from it. First off, it's thin. It has no malt backbone at all. It is somewhat sweet with a yeasty-bready taste that is very common among these Connecticut and New York breweries attempting to make a Massachusetts or Vermont style, hoppy juice bomb. And, it's not particularly hoppy either. It's mostly, well, soft yes, and thing at the same time, and sweet, and yeasty and a little musty. I taste lemon and coriander and biscuit but no pine, malt, or bitter. Coulds and pillows are fair comparisons. The mean Yeti or whatever-animal featured on the can with the skeletal dinosaur bones below it for this one is not. It's not a bad beer. There's nothing off putting about it. But it's just so tame and weak in flavor. I would not buy again.
