There's absolutely nothing wrong with this NE-style IIPA, but there's nothing new that it brings to the table, either. In fact, the flavor profile is somewhat unremarkable, despite the intense hoppiness; it's just a bit of a citrus-tropical-herbal melange of familiar yet indistinct hop notes. A very good beer overall, but it feels like more of a foundation for a great beer than a great beer itself.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark golden hazy pour with a one finger foamy white head. Citrusy, piny aroma. Taste is fruity first, then piney hoppiness, mild astringent notes. Finishes mildly dry.
