Very typical of NE Style, with exception being the taste is better than most. Unlike most, this has a smooth non floury feel. Good beer, just wish it had more bitterness.

Great minds brew alike, and when the teams of Twelve Percent and Unseen Creatures get together there's no playing favorites in this collaborative IPA.
Elder Child readies at the start line with a deep and hazy golden orange pour. As a creamy and ivory tinted head builds on the brim, the leading perfume is all about orange. That radiating citronella scent is laced with botanical herbs, complementary citrus, tropical and stone fruit attributes just as the sweetness of cereal, honey and lightly toastes shortcake greets the tongue.
The flavors of orange billow on the middle palate as suggestions of tangerine, mandarin and curacao oranges carry an oily, zesty and slightly pithy hop impression. Red grapefruit, pineapple, mango, papaya and passionfruit can all be found in a racy, exotic and slightly sherbet-like fruit medley. Trending herbal, bitter and spicy with greener hop flavors, more suggestive flavors of fresh grass clippings, lemon pepper, hemp, spruce and gin all decorate the later portions of taste.
Medium bodied and creamy throughout, the beer finishes smoothly bitter and with a crisp, refreshing bite. A medium-long aftertaste of hop bitterness brings more of the citronella pefume and a drying alcohol spice that brings us back to those curacao liquor character.

Pours a very attractive yellow orange with a sold finger plus head that leaves thick webs of lace with excellent retention. 4.75
Aroma mandarin, papaya, apricot, white grape, pineapple, and a little grapefruit fairly strong nose. 4.5
Taste follows mandarin, papaya, apricot, pineapple, white grapes, and grapefruit. 4.5
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, maybe a little sticky but not dry, and at 8.5% ABV it goes down easy with a bunch of flavor. 4.5.
Overall a very nice DDH NEDIPA, from a brewery I had never heard of. 4.5
