Went up the hill to visit here, a pretty small tap room and brewery. Saddened to hear that owners landlord was not renewing his lease, and he was scrambling to try to find another location. Small, friendly neighborhood vibe . Good beers, great service, flights available.

Cool outdoor Eddie Bauer/ REI vibe that ties into the local area. Decent selection on tap, all brewed in house. Quality of the beer was below average. Staff was friendly and attentive.

i like this place a lot, its been a long time coming, and it was rad to finally make it in. they have a great space, designed to sort of feel like a woodsy camp, gorgeous lake and nature scenes on the wall, old gear like fishing tackle and stuff adorn the walls, and even lamps and other touches that make it feel like a cabin, awesome theme, and the logo is cool too, its obvious a lot of thought went into it. the brew house is in the basement apparently. they have a small patio out front too that will be choice when the weather gets nice. apparently one of the owners had some family property that inspired the place. i wish the beer was better. they had ten or so on tap, and i was woefully disappointed by an overtly flawed kolsch, totally whack fermentation, but they did a bit bitter with a bergamot pale ale. the best of the ones i had was a cold brew milk porter, sweeter than it needed to be, but tasty overall. i know its a small system in here, so they are probably brewing a lot and learning quickly, but the dude apparently went to brewing school at a prestigious program. i hope nobody that could have gotten through that education could taste this kolsch and proudly serve it, but what the heck do i know. i think its probably trending up, they had a good mix of styles on, and should improve pretty rapidly, but the beer did not impress me a whole lot. service was great though, dude was super into it, was proud of the place, and took care in his work, i always appreciate that. good mellow relaxing vibe in here, and a very different approach to the taproom aesthetic which i love, but the beer has to get better here. ill check back next time in town and update...
