A: pours a sort of watered down rust orange color with a slim eggshell white head. Lazy carbonation.
S: Stale fruit aroma, a little apple here, a little grape there, twang of orange. Slight metallic sting as well.
T: Mildly fruity with apples being the most dominant. Middle of the road malts, hops.
M: Crisp and medium bodied.
D: Not exactly a Maibock in my book, but, it still wasn't half bad.

Orange copper pour with a small quick-dying head. Some lace will remain on the glass. Aromas of floral hops as well as oranges and apples hit the nose. Subtle grains also find their way in there.
Smooth with a medium body, this Maibock is lacking a bit. The flavor is not balanced as well as it could be. There is a lot of apple flavor that causes a bit too much sweetness. The hops balance somewhat, but not enough. Citrus and grains round it out. It is definitely a good beer, but with Ramstein nearby, I'll make the trip out of town to grab a growler.

I believe this was called Lindfors Maibock or something, I dont quite recall. This was an interesting beer for Krogh's to brew...it had some quite interesting flavors. Sweet malt and a touch of hops to the aroma, with a unique fruity malt flavor that I have never really encountered in any other beer and can not quite place. I would love to try this again. The mouthfeel was excellent, smooth, full-bodied, with just a bit of carbonation. Grassy, wheat flavors were also detectable. A very different beer and well worth a try.
