A - Pours a motor oil black with a thin brown head. Decent amount of soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is cinnamon, dark chocolate and light coconut.
T - The taste is dark chocolate, cinnamon, light coconut and a woody finish.
M - Medium body with a medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a slick drying finish.
O - Solid stout. I just wish the coconut was more pronounced in the flavor.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a patchy brown head that dissipates to nothing with a slight ring around the glass. Aroma of dark toasted malt, coconut, cinnamon and bakers chocolate. Flavor is dark toasted malt, cinnamon, coconut and dark chocolate. Medium to heavy bodied with heavy creaminess. A very dark stout with aromatic coconut and cinnamon (cassia bark) on the pour and in the glass. Full bodied in both flavor and mouth feel. Great quality chocolate notes in the malt, hard to believe that chocolate isn't also an adjunct flavor. The coconut and cassia bark are both clear notes, but nicely balanced and supported by the malt, both of these flavors are well integrated. There's a light woody character from the cassia bark. Carbonation is fine, despite the nearly still pour. This looks and smells like a pastry stout, but although a little sweet is at a nice level. Quite flavorful and enjoyable. Nicely done.

My sister used to have two pitties. Nice dogs. Just one now, plus a boxer I've not met.
This pours syrupy, black and with little head. The aroma is malty candy with unidentifiable nuance. The taste is a sweet, malty, bomb, and it seems to just stick to your lips. Don't get any on ya!
Recommended. It's a poor value at $7.59/can.

This was excellent, subdued just enough to not be over cloying and a palate-wrecker. Loved the look, inky-black and staining the glass dark brown/red, opaque and thick with a dark mocha head. Rich roasted malt with plenty of milk and dark chocolate notes and a nice dose of toasted coconut sweetness with a prickly cinnamon/spice characteristic that brings an impression of dark fruits and cherries. Thick, coating mouthfeel, present but subdued alcohol.

Heavily spiced but nice mix of cassia cinnamon and chocolate.

Pours pitch black, nice dark mocha head. Fantastic aroma of mainly cinnamon, faint coconut. Flavor is mainly cinnamon, chocolate, coconut is subtle. Rich and thick, full bodied. Carbonation adds to a creamy texture. Overall a very good pastry stout, cinnamon dominates a bit much.

Poured moderately hard from a can into a snifter glass, slowly forming a finger of the darkest brown head I've ever seen. Faded after a couple minutes to moderate lacing. Deep opaque brown color. Smell is intense malt with a tiny hint of coconut. Taste is similar, with an strong malt background and some woody flavor, just a hint of coconut if you're paying attention. Not too boozy tasting for 12% ABV. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Intense stout that's unique due to the woodsy flavor. More of a sipper, might pair with something better than drinking solo.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a coal black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of chocolate, spices, coconut, malt, and an earthy quality.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of malt (present throughout, though subtle), a good shot of chocolate (the star ingredient), a hint of the earthy quality), a lot of spice (cinnamon, to be exact), and some coconut (quite sweet). This is a sweet, complex, and well constructed flavor. It's robust, but never heavy. Delicious.
F: A below average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: An excellent, well made stout. Drinkable.
