This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like dark chocolate, roasted malt, earthy vanilla, caramel, oak spice, tobacco, and coffee.
This is really quite good. The barrel is the star here, with the vanilla a delicious subtle background note. The barrel gives off caramel, tobacco, oak, maybe even some dried coconut, with a great spicy long finish. There's lots of dark chocolate, some coffee like flavor, maybe some dried fruit. It's just super complex and I wish I had more of this to drink in the future.
This is medium bodied, super creamy and luxurious feeling, with a long, spicy finish that ends quite smoothly.
These guys seem to be the real deal - this is absolutely wonderful.
