This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like spicy oak, crème brûlée, dark chocolate, vanilla, char, coffee, dark fruit, and bourbon.
This is exceptionally well done, with just waves of barrel goodness here. There's something very satisfying about a really well done and complex barrel aged stout with no adjuncts. There's lots of char and oak spice, and a nice sweet bourbon character. There's also light licorice, smoke, leather, vanilla, black cherry, and waves of dark chocolate.
This is medium bodied, with no real booziness to it at all. It's quite drinkable.
Timber and 12% have really created something great with their Lumber Project. This is quite, quite good.
