Can from Bird Girl. Poured a dramatically beautiful super dark opaque black-brown body with a one inch creamy brown head. But then head quickly dissipates with no lacing or residual surface foam. 4.5 -> 4= 4.25 I guess. Nose is rich with peanuts and background dark chocolate and vanilla with some sweetness underneath. Taste mirrors. Vanilla more evident while peanuts still dominate. Chocolate continues to fill the background. Coffee becomes much more evident as beer airs and warms in snifter. Underlying sweetness melds in much more prominently. Taste now a more peanut - chocolate - sugary sweet forward dessert stout with some coffee bringing in some roast and slight bitterness.
Body is medium dense with some oiliness, slight carbonation and high alcohol related tingling.
Overall a well made powerfully rich dessert stout. I’m not a peanut/stout fan, and I hoped it would be an enhancer only (since last in list of adjuncts). But instead it was the dominant flavor. So highly recommend to those who would enjoy this. It is wonderfully full flavored. I am comfortable scoring the beer high for flavor. Will continue to seek out beers from these masterful brewers.

Pitch black ! Peanut aroma and flavor is greater than coffee and vanilla bean character; rich and robust. Nice balance of flavors. Somewhat dessert like. Medium to full body with a rich finish.

Poured from pint can (date 5/20/2022) to a tulip glass. Very dark, almost no head. Smell was sugar, chocolate, taste was brown sugar, overwhelmingly sweet. Little balance to this beer. If you like melted Ben n Jerry's peanut butter fudge, go for it. This for me... is not beer. I dumped half of it down the drain.

Great dark color. Not much head.
No real nose.
Smooth, rich, but I was hoping for more. No strong flavors coming through.
Good beer, not overly impressive.

Copenhagen 18/3 2023. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Painting of a brown dog with a red cap on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Disappears almost immediately. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a candy-like sweet odor barely covering up a prominent scent of sweet alcohol. Cocoa, vanilla, brown sugar and a light touch of salted peanuts. Almond liqueur.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Finish is sugary with a dry touch. Like chocolate with a high cocoa content.
Heavy, sweet and nutritious.

Peanuts, but way too sweet, sugary coffee. Roast doesn't balance it. Can from Hops Hill.Peanut nose. Some good elements, particularly the peanuts, but not enough bitter balance.

Look: It's not often I say it pours black, but this pours black with a brown head. Head retention is low.
Smell: It has coffee and roast aromas with peanuts.
Taste: It has strong chocolate and roast flavors with peanuts in support. There are very low levels of vanilla and some coffee in the background.
Feel: It has a full body with alcohol warming.
Overall, all the flavors that are to be prominent are which means you pretty much get what the description says.
