This Insomniac's Daydream variation layers in the glass with a visually dense taupe color along with a creamy eggshell froth. As its perfumy scent billows onto the nose, the full spectrum of citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, melon and herb create a highly mouthwatering scent. A slightly caramelized taste greets the tongue with suggestions of pastry crust, honey and cereal.

But those finishing hops dominate the taste as the Citra delivers a wallop of mandarin orange, mango and red grapefruit; and the Galaxy drives home the racier and tangier flavors of passionfruit, lemongrass and cannabis. Other fruit flavors of cantaloup, peach and papaya complete the fruitiness while the bitterness grows with green tea, verbena, cedar and hemp.

Medium-full, creamy and malty-dry, the beer finishes spicy with sprucy hop and a hint of gin-like botanical warmth. A medium-long aftertaste of muddled fruit peels and growing pine creates a refreshing, crisp and mostly clean after palate.
