This Imperial Stout pours jet black with just a sliver of a mocha head. The nose is a blend of chocolate, coconut and peanuts. The flavor follows suit, and the mixture of toasted coconut, peanuts, and chocolate is fairly straightforward yet pleasant. Booziness (12% ABV) creeps in a bit but never goes too far. A nice winter stout to cozy up to.
