Copenhagen 20/3 2024. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Green can with tranquil waters and somber clouds.
Pours opaque, hazy pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Overripe mango and bruised peach. Alcohol. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingly texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Finish is rather dry.
Satisfying NEIPA with enough intensity and alcohol to make me think of a DIPA.

Poured from a 16oz can labeled 01/07/25 into a teku glass.
Look: Somewhere between a straw and orange yellow, and more cloudy than hazy.
Smell: Nose is predominantly zippy orange zest and slightly dank hops.
Taste: Follows the nose; a refreshing light citrus and pineapple sweetness with a touch of hoppy bitterness. Flavors are not immense or in your face, in fact are fairly light.
Feel: Crisp and easy on the tongue, not heavy-handed in the least.
Overall: A nice change up from the dark and heavy beers I usually find myself sipping on, but I wish there was more punch from this.
