Stouty looking pour with a brown sugar head. Smell and taste like sweet maple and cinnamon. Feel is well balanced with the sweetness and carbonation. Overall one of the easiest beers to drink I’ve ever had.

Pours black and settles black with mahogany brown on the edges and a sudsy mocha colored head that dissipates quickly. Beautiful stout.
The nose is led by the maple syrup and cinnamon, with the coffee following with a bit of roasty malt along for the ride.
The maple syrup and cinnamon lead the taste as well, and are delicious, with the coffee and roasty malt providing balance. Delicious stuff.
The mouthfeel is medium and edges towards creamy. This is CBS light, IMHO. So much flavor in a 6% ABV beer.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass with a thin, fizzy, khaki head that dissipates to nothing with no lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, coffee, maple syrup, cinnamon and French toast (there is an actual eggy note here). Flavor is semi-sweet dark toasted malt, cocoa, maple syrup, cinnamon and light eggy element; a little coffee on the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, substantial body for a 6% stout. I think this might be the lowest ABV stout I've had from Timber. I had some trepidation when I realized it wasn't one of their big stouts, because although I like coffee stouts, most low ABV ones are stark on the palate for me. Not a problem with this one, the generous malt body was evident in the pour and in the mouth feel. A little sweet for me, but not cloying. The aroma is amazingly like French toast, the taste is a fair replica. Carbonation was satisfactory despite a near still pour. Kudos to Timber for pulling this off in a lighter stout. Well done.

Gorgeous pour. Deep dark brown color, great head.
Definitely smells like French Toast.
Smooth, easy to drink. No real depth, I guess low ABV show that way.
Very good beer.

Pours midnight black, with a thick, gorgeous two finger head. Aroma is maple, cinnamon and coffee. Taste is cinnamon, maple and coffee, though the coffee profile is nearly non-existent. Mouthfeel is not as dense as anticipated by the look. Carbonation is not nearly as high either. This is, however, quite nicely done and flows down nicely.

The pour is jet black with a tan & frothy head of foam. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, maple syrup, & cinnamon. Cheers! A-

Thick coffee maple and cinnamon syrup. Smells nice. A bit too much cinnamon for me but nice.

Delicious maple syrup, coffee and cinnamon aroma and flavor. Nice balance of flavors without being very sweet. Medium bodied with a rich finish. Would be great with breakfast!

This was another Timber Ale provided by Saveon. The others I've tried were all stouts except one, and all were good.
This one pours oil black. thick and syrupy without much head. The aroma is a wonderful mix of things sweet and candied and mysterious. The taste is a thick amalgam of stuff, with thick being the operative word. It finishes sweet and sticky.
Recommended. It's a good, big stout, just what I needed.
