This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells milk chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, espresso, and spicy barrel.
The cacao nibs have almost made this feel butterscotch, and almost “fatty”, with an interesting sweet and chocolatey feel. The heavy duty barrel, caramel, char, and oak help keep this from being too sweet ultimately.
This is medium bodied, super creamy, and full bodied, and not boozy at all.
This was a really intriguing drinking experience, and another excellent stout from the folks over at Timber.
