Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a thick black with a very thin layer of dark brown head. The nose is excellent. Coffee, hazelnuts, almonds, coconut, chocolate, vanilla, and a light layer of roasted malts.

The taste is great. Almonds kick things off. Light coffee, milk chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, charred wood, and maybe a hint of coconut. Some brown sugar and maple come through as well. Nicely integrated flavors, and definitely not too sweet. Very enjoyable pastry stout.

The mouthfeel is thick and creamy, and the aftertaste is chocolate and nuts. Very nice.

It didn't form a head when poured into a tulip glass. There was a filmy swirl but no lacing.
The nose is coffee and graham cracker and hints at a thinness.
Sweet flavor, especially of coconut. Almond is next, followed by coffee.
Yes, the mouthfeel is thin with coconut in the swallow.

This is quite boring in an amazing way. Another superb stout.

As good a pour as you can get. Rich, dark color. Deep tan/brown head that is well over an inch and hangs out for a while.

Great nose. I don't usually get much, but here almonds and coconut.

Taste is outstanding. Thick, creamy, smooth.

Spectacular.

16 ounce can - $9.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.

CANNED ON 03/10/25.

Appearance: Pours a very (very) dark brown body with no appreciable head formation no matter how hard or angrily I poured it from the can. Ah well.

Smell: Dark chocolate and deeply caramelized sugar aromatics with some underlying nuttiness, medium-roast coffee, dark fruit fruitiness and a small smidgen of coconut.

Taste: Heavy, fairly sweet chocolaty-caramel presence. Given the heft of the beer, absence of carbonation and overall sweetness, the beer moves, feels and tastes like melty ice cream or dark chocolate almond clusters. As with the aroma, there's a showing of toasted almond, toasted coconut, coffee and a tangy dark (raisin-prune) fruitiness. There's definitely a warming noticed alcohol presence, but, like a liqueur, it's kept at bay by the already palpable sweetness and overall languid viscosity of the thing.

Mouthfeel: Full-bodied. Near nil carbonation. Smooth, sticky-sweet mouthfeel.

Overall: Minus not having any local beer-drinking friends anymore (or really any friends now that I'm in my mid-to-late forties), I would've happily split this with someone given the Godiva liqueur-quality of the beverage.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque black in the glass with a two finger milk chocolate head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, quality dark chocolate, light coffee and coconut. Flavor follows, with dark toasted malt, rich dark chocolate, drip coffee, toasted coconut and almond. Medium bodied with silky moderate creaminess; great mouth feel. A great, rich coffee and coconut stout. The aroma has a ton of chocolate in it equivalent to some of the more intense stouts using actual chocolate; I really like this malt. The coffee is a light, but distinct note. Both coconut and almond are light, the latter tasting more like generic nuts at first, but with almond character in the finish. The look and mouth feel are both outstanding. A little sweet, but reserved. I found this delicious. I'm becoming a big fan of Timber stouts and this is one of the good one.

16 ounce can, no dating that I was able to find on the can or label. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coconut, coffee, vanilla, roasted malt and some caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt, nutty/almond and earthy flavors noticeable too. It's a sweeter tasting brew, I think the coconut stands out somewhat compared to the other flavors but without overwhelming the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think it's a good overall brew, definitely worth picking up if you come across some!
