This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
There’s just a ton of vanilla on the nose here, much more than I’d expect from Timber. There’s also some great oaky barrel notes, too.
This is much more heavy duty in the pastry department than I’m used to with Timber, but that’s fine. There’s a load of authentic and creamy vanilla here, with roasted malt, tobacco, and spicy bourbon.
This is medium bodied, slightly boozy but not overwhelmingly so, and pretty drinkable.
I like some of the more barrel centric Timber offerings more, but this was still very good.
