This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like tobacco, dark chocolate, espresso, oak, and vanilla.
This has such a wonderfully dense and flavorful feel to it. The barrel adds some nice herbal and oaky notes – tobacco, leather, very dark chocolate, bright espresso notes, with some definite vanilla and caramel, too.
This is thick, creamy, and rich, and definitely not all that sweet. It’s surprisingly not all that boozy, despite the higher ABV.
This is absolutely classic Timber, and everything I love about their barrel aged beers.
