Base Lager is a crisp, all malt lager with a smooth, bitter finish. A clean, crisp all malt body and classic smooth hop bitterness delivers a perfectly balanced, sessionable beer.
Unique gentle cross flow filtration allows the raw ingredients to express themselves fully. The noble German hop, Hellartau Tradition, used throughout the wort boiling, gives Base Lager a smooth, refreshing bitterness.
Why Base? It’s where it all begins. Brewed for the great night out, or in and everything in between.

Gifted for Christmas 2022. Drunk in June 2023.
L: Very clear, bright golden yellow. A fluffy white head sticks around and leaves lacing on the glass. Slow-moving, big-bubbled carbonation can be seen in the glass. All in all, a very pretty beer.
S: Sweet. honeyed malt, a little bit of yeast and mild floral hops. Maybe a touch of soap, which gives it a slight knock on the aroma.
T: Now that I've detected that hint of soap in the nose I'm getting it in the mouth too! Apart from that, the beer is clean, with moderate floral bitterness (which might be that soap note I pick up) and a crisp, satisfying finish. Slight knock again due to that soap note.
M: Carbonation is medium-high and carbonic prickle follows suit. Finishes full and well-rounded.
O: This is a nice beer that would likely be marked higher if I hadn't convinced myself I was picking up a slight soapy note.
Cheers!
