On tap at The General’s Crossing
The second to last brewery on me and my buddies’ RI brewery journey. Sons Of Liberty directly before this was honestly not great, but I’m hoping this one is better. At least this beer sounds pretty interesting. Let’s get into it
Pours a slightly cloudy reddish orange with a finger of off white head that quickly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is (unsurprisingly) quite floral here. I’m picking up on aromas of wildflower honey, orange zest, green banana, hibiscus, earthy wheat, coriander, and light strawberry
It’s not quite as impactful in taste, but it’s still rather tasty. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting coriander, juicy strawberry, earthy wheat, bready malt, orange zest, hibiscus, and light lemon. The swallow brings notes of wildflower honey, hibiscus, juicy strawberry, orange zest, earthy wheat, coriander, and lemon zest
A light medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes neutral and refreshing
This one is solid. Nothing amazing but at least it’s got some unique qualities
