Jukes Ale Works "Act One, Scene One"

Look: Clear dark ruby-brown body beneath a short head of off white foam. Average head retention and lacing.
Smell: Sweet, fruity, and caramelish.
Taste: Malty with notes of raisin, apple, brown sugar, dark caramel, and almost-burnt sugar. The alcohol is well cloaked. A firm bitterness balances it and brings it to a semi-dry finish with some mild leafy hops emerging once the fruit and malt have faded.
Feel: Medium-full in body with a moderate carbonation that leaves it smooth.
Overall: Charming and enjoyable.
