Long lasting pillowy head. Full flavor, including an unusual (for a pilsner) touch of dankness. I like that. Great malt- hop balance. Excellent brew.

Another beer I don't remember but gave it quite a good rating for a Pilsner as they don't normally have much flavor.

Clear amber brew with abundant and sticky white foam in the big Tripel Karmeliet tulip. Inviting aromas of lemon peel and malt. Spritzy and lush on the tongue. Relatively sweet with a tangy finish. Moderately bitter aftertaste. Interesting flavors of green fruit with a touch of pineapple and sourdough bread. Overall this is clean and fruity and a splendid quaff. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 06/24/24. Not exactly fresh but perfectly drinkable and pleasing.

16oz can purchased at Community Pint, in Spokane, WA. According to the stamp on the bottom of the can, this was canned on August 7th, 2024.
Poured into a 16 oz can type glass, this was a very slightly chill hazed golden amber color with a big, fluffy, rocky, bone-white head. Lots of sticky lace.
Floral, grassy, herbal hop nose. Hops drown out any malt aroma.
What's noted in the nose pretty much stands for flavor as well. It's a floral, herbal, bitter, slightly lemony flavor. I did not pick up any crackery malt flavor, just as I did not pick up any maltiness in the nose. Finish is quite dry.
Body is somewhere between light and medium, and finishes crisp and clean.
This is a pretty good German style pilsner, and I would happily have several in a sitting, where I to encounter it on tap locally. At under 5%, it would be a very nice warm weather pils. However, it just misses out on being an excellent one, and, frankly, much as I like it, it would have to be sold at a very advantageous price point to replace pFriem pilsner as my number one summer fridge beer. Perhaps an example that's been brewed more freshly than a little more than three months ago might change my mind.

Taster pour at von Ebert. Clear golden pour, silky white head. Clean, grainy aroma. Taste is bready, biscuity, clean. Simple Pils done extremely well.

Chill hazed to very clear yellow-gold with a tall head of white foam.
Punchy and expressive of clean herbality pairing with a hint of corn nut, it finishes bone dry.

Very yellow, relatively light. Grainy aroma, low overall intensity but pleasant. Medium/low flavor intensity. Not very complex. Grainy, malty, some bitterness. Good body but very astringent. Lingering bitterness and a slight metallic aftertaste. It's pretty basic. If I hadn't just bought a 6-pack of another barely known pilsner that was way more complex and delicious, I probably would have rated this higher lol. If this was on tap somewhere, I would probably get it, but I'm not going to go out of my way to have it again.

Pours a pale straw with a light amount of chill haze, the white head is well structured. Fresh baked bread and spicy noble hop character from the nose. It's got hop spice with a nice malty saltine backbone. Crisp too.

Big head. On the nose, sourdough, hay, hints of lemon, spice. Taste is hoppier than the nose. Sourdough bread, wheat, lemony hops, floral notes, grass, more a bit of funk and spice. Crisp, bright, slightly acidic. Feel is wet, medium carbonation. Overall, really good Pilsner. I dig the spice and how crisp the body is. Only complaint is I wish it finished a bit drier. Great beer though.

this is sold but basic, not as dry as i like but a well made beer no doubt, been seeing more and more from these guys in the market lately which is awesome, its been fun to dip into some of these! this is quite hoppy as they go, the right mix of raw and refined to me, not overly cleaned up to the point of losing character, everything seems intentional here. the grain is pale and light in body, european and fresh, minimal in body, and full of minerals that give this a real brightness. the hops are noble to me in the nose, more spicy than grassy with a little lime leaf note, and fresh as can be in flavor, bitter through the whole drink not just in the finish, enhance by the water profile, and delicious with this lager yeast, which seems to pull the best out of them, i get lush leafy greenness and botanical freshness, light citrus, and more familiar mowed lawn quality, very pleasant set against the cereal malt here, and there is balance in this. the hops work to crisp it up despite in having a little sweetness through it, carbonation from the tap is good but short of effervescent, and this drinks hearty but easy at the same time. i liked it more before i had it next to some other, drier and more lively examples of the style, but this is a solid pils, and i am stoked to have these guys in the boise market. looking forward to drinking through the rest of their offerings. this is four season lager, works on a number of levels.

21 days in the can. I actually quite dig this a lot. Hews well towards the traditional German Pilsner style; with a smooth, mildly sweet malt presence, nice floral and noble hop bite. Clean. Crisp medium body, not watery by any means, good carbonation, goes down fast and easy. A great pilsner for a hot day.

Updated 15 May '25. Comments still hold pretty well, think the malts are better.
Faintly hazy, light head. Light odor of bread/biscuits dough. It's a very drinkable, refreshing beer, would be good on a summer afternoon on the porch. Nice body, with enough malt balanced with smooth hoppiness. The can does not give any clue to the ingredient list, but we're thinking they used German ingredients here as it has a very Continental flavor.
