16oz can from Boise Co-op. Lightly cloudy pale golden with a thick foamy white head. Grainy aroma, light tea notes. Biscuity, cracker malts, dry, dusty, tannic flavors with a touch of lemon.

i love this style and i am becoming a huge fan of these guys, especially of their lagers, all so solid across the board. this one is done with rice and tea, super subtle on the tea, but it is appreciable because the base beer is so light, i like this being all delicate, and while i could personally use a little more tea character in this, i like its mellowness too. light floral notes of jasmine and elderflower, a hint of an almost minty thing too, all on the finish, surprisingly no bitterness from the tea either, or else its subservient to the mild hop bitterness this finishes with but tea is usually a little more intensely bitter than this in beers. the base beer has some flavor too, more pils malt than rice to me, crackery, european, fresh, dry, and similar to some of their other lagers, with the rice lightening it some. great carbonation and crispness, this is majorly refreshing, and very well made, but perhaps not as interesting as i thought it would be, the tea is so mild. it warms up well, drinks easy and summery, and overall is very good. happy to have these guys in the boise market now, ive been liking all of their stuff so far!
