Had on tap. Opaque brown body, darker in the middle than the edges, cap is tan leaving spotted lacing. Great aromas of toffee and lightly toasted caramel with cocoa, light dry earth and leather. Taste is much the same with a whisper of date added. Malt forward but not heavy at all, sneaky lush given the abv, smooth and has a hint of roast. Really nice work here with this dark ale
