Can from New Seasons.
A clear light orange with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is aggressively hoppy, bitter with grapefruit juice, clean and zippy with pine needles, citrus brightness and a little dried strawberry. The palate opens with all the makings of a modern WCIPA but with a little more bitterness than typical. Bitter, pungent grapefruit juice, dank and oily pine sap, mild honey and nice floral notes. Minimal malt. Drying, clean, bitter finish with lingering resin. Lovely.

Look: Dull orange and cloudy in the glass with a poofy white head that quickly builds and settles to a pillow, leaving sheets of lacing behind
Aroma: Dusty orange, guava, melon, raspberries, tangerine, pink grapefruit, some pine resin, and bready malt
Taste: Raspberries, grapefruit, and tangerine jump out on the initial sip and quickly develop depth as pine sap and crushed needles follow closely behind. Melon and guava appear in the middle along with some infrequent notes of ‘dusty orange’, or better put, earthy/herbal/orange combo. Closes with grapefruit, pine, berries, and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, somewhat smooth, medium-high carbonation, and a touch of dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a solid and tasty WCIPA that brings a unique blend of flavors/aromas to the table. It can feel a bit muddled in the flavor department at times but far from distracting or dissuading enough not to continue imbibing. I’d like to try it fresher too as mine were over 3 months old and probably stored warm for some time given the location I purchased them from

Clear golden brew with ample foam in the Chimay chalice. Aroma of straw and pine with lingering grapefruit in the nose. Sharp and spritzy on the tongue. Light bodied and just slightly sweet. "Zingy" I would call it. Tastes of pineapple-orange juice, but not so sweet, and some resins. Dry finish with a modest bitter aftertaste. This is another very nice hoppy brew from Von Ebert. so far I'm willing to try anything from them. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Date illegible.
