Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Brigand chalice. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel with prickly carbonation. Aromatic with green herbs and cut hay with a whiff of fruit. More boldly flavored than any Japanese Rice Lager, so it seems to be some "modern" kind of Pilsner. Tastes of apricot, grain, a touch of lemon. Aftertaste is quite leafy and surprisingly bitter. where the rice comes in I couldn't say, but it's a a flavorful quaff with some rough but interesting edges. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Shell station. Dated 05/21/24 so it's been there a while.
