Nearly cloudy. Light amber color. Minor head but it leaves a thorough blanket of lace throughout the tasting.
This IPA leans to the malty side smell wise. It’s slightly berry sweet. I think I’m picking up more yeast bite than hop bitterness.
The taste has more hop (black pepper) bitterness but the malt still dominates until the swallow. Decent body balanced with the barely elevated. The swallow becomes bitter leaving a moderate aftertaste.
