simple hefe here, wheaty and well grounded, warmer fermented than it needs to be, especially with such a familiar, even generic yeast strain, a little less might actually be more in terms of these esters and how they pertain to drinkability, but this isnt bad, not flawed in any way, and plenty flavorful, works in warm weather, even if its slightly uninteresting as they go. high tone banana notes to this, both ripe and green, a little pear too, green grape, white pepper spice, and orange. its short of phenolic or soapy or anything, for sure. its on the dry side but not all the way there, the wheat is as flavorful as the yeast somehow, especially once this warms up a little bit, and i am thankful for the high carbonation keeping it moving, this might be their most bubbly feeling beer i had in here, and its needed and appreciated. light lemon and orange on the finish, a nice freshness, and overall a samey but technically decent example of the style. nothing totally blew me away in here, but they are doing all kinds of styles with enough proficiency to be drinkable across the board. glad this place exists!
