Poured from a crowler filled the day before into a mason jar with a half fingers worth of head that dissipates after a minute. Pale honey colored, reminiscent of weak tea. Not hazy per se, but murkily translucent. Aromas of white grape, orange pith, peach and just a hint of off-putting vegetal. Mouthfeel isn't overly thin, but a bit slick - hard to know, but could be a crowler pressure issue versus a lack of carbonation normally present in this beer on tap - would like to see what this is like with more carbonation as it would definitely help brighten things up. Tastes like ripe honeydew, and sweetened lemonade . Quite drinkable. I love that it's a pale ale at this ABV and not a "session IPA", but which I mean to say this has a nice balance with a stronger malt bill than you'd typically find with a "session" beer. Overall, this isn't my favorite hop profile and the carbonation is off, but I do love the concept and abv. I won't get another crowler of this particular beer, but I could see myself ordering it on tap or in a 12oz can if/when available.
