Pours a murky brown with a thin tan head that leaves spotty lace.
Aroma is fruity dark malts, vanilla, chocolate, oak bourbon notes, plums, figs, dark cherries all folded together. Very nice to find this right down the road.
Taste follows the nose, sweet malty brew, loads of dark fruits, chocolate, vanilla with oaked bourbon barrel notes that blend well and don't impart any undo hotness. Yeast notes herbal hints of spicy maybe a touch off a real Belgian Quad but not much. Impressed by how good this is, most American Brewers butcher this style but I would buy this again anytime.
Mouthfeel is big medium not quite full carbonation is nice a solid medium, very smooth.
Overall would recommend picking this up if you see it, being from Tennessee probably no well distributed but it is very solid beer.
