This variety of Elevated Perspective is brewed with barley malt, velvety oats, soft wheat and fruity spelt. Shifting into high gear we assertively dosed the whirlpool with Nelson Sauvin hops. We double dry hopped this shredder of a double IPA with even more Nelson. Enjoy this hop bomb after pushing pedals on your favorite trail.

OK, the running complaints about overly starched IPAs can't work here. The label includes "oat cream", so at least you know what's in store. The pint can emptied into the clear glass Imperial pint mug reveals the expected. It's a honey amber colored liquid, rather dense and with a noticeable, but not overwhelming white head. It also has the glass lacing this style has now seemed to offer to the point of redundancy. Enough whining about what was once a great style of beer, think Heady Topper. Back to Elevated Perspective, at first a starchy smell with some hoppiness. This one pushes the taste stereotypes. There is some substantial malt body and some true glass lacing to witness it. There is a nice hoppy bite to the finish. Some of the malt sweetness carries into the finish, where the hops dominate and it makes it delightful. Said finish is bitter, not offensively so, but also rather dry and clean. This one is among the best of an oat infused IPA. Concept: Is it wheat, not oats that ruins modern hazy IPAs? Oats certainly work here.

Pours a cloudy golden color with nice lacing and head. Smell is tropical and fruity with white wine Taste has fresh berries and dank passion fruit with some bland wine notes. A soft moth feel with some tartness in the finish.
