Chocolate and crystal malt sweetness is carefully balanced with roasted malt dryness. A touch of brown sugar and Belgian candi sugar complement the layers of Wisconsin maple syrup, Ecuadorian cocoa nibs, Mexican vanilla beans and fresh roasted Mostra Coffee beans.

First time trying this beer and absolutely amazing. Mine was from a can. Pour slow because there's a good amount of head. Can certainly taste the sweet maple but not overly sweet. Mocha hints are there and medium char, which I love. Nothing is perfect, but this is about as good of a stout that I've ever tried.

Jet black pour and light carbonation. The smell and taste are maple syrup and chocolate…and a strong barrel char. I like this beer, but the strong char smell is keeping me from loving it.

Sweet. Dark black body. Chocolate pudding, brown sugar, mild vanilla. Mostly just sweet. Medium full body, lower carbonation with a bit of earthy coffee bitterness.

Poured into a Unibroue tulip glass.

Look- pitch black, slight head. quickly fading.

Smell- maple sweetness up front followed by vanilla. Slight coffee notes. Sweet but not cloying finish.

Taste- follows the nose to a tee. Just enough char to balance the sweetness to balance the adjuncts.

Feel- overall full mouthfeel, oily slick finish.

Enjoyed overall, a well done pastry stout. Would purchase again.

Obsidian black pour with a fluffy light brown cap. Smell is maple forward but elegantly done, crystalized sugar and malt pair with the maple the whole sniff, chocolate, coffee and and vanilla round out powerfully. Hello maple candy taste! Roast is too light to balance, chocolate and vanilla are sweet on sweet with the maple. Feel is sugary, carbonation is sneaky high, thinner body allows maple to run away with it. A diabetic nightmare

Pours deep copper with a 1/2 inch tan head, which dissipates. No lacing.

Aroma of maple, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee.

Taste is maple, vanilla cocoa, molasses, coffee. A bit of alcohol burn.

Full bodied, light carbonation. Thick & sticky. Sweet finish.

Very good tasting stout.
