Galaxy, Mosaic Cryo, Cashmere, Idaho 7 Oat Cream IPA
This Oat Cream IPA was brewed with an abundance of oats and spelt with just a dash of lactose sugar for a smooth, creamy body. We double dry hopped this batch with 4.5 lbs per barrel of Galaxy, Mosaic Cryo, Cashmere and Idaho 7, creating a popping passion fruit character with dank citrus tones.

A wonderfully off-balance, beautiful mess of a beer. I can see how so much hop play might turn a few palates away. Often does the same for me. But this was interesting, even delightful, and kept me in the glass.
Poured into ye old go-to, Sierra Nevada shaker pint...
L- pale golden, juicy pour with an initially foamy white head that dissipates to a persistent, quarter-inch, sudsy ring with minimal lacing.
S- Citrus (big-time grapefruit), that lactose creaminess, and some intriguing apricot.
T- LET THE BATTLE BEGIN. Tons of hop play. A bit Idaho 7 dominant with grapefruit, earthy tropical, marmalade, and vague stonefruit notes. Kept yearning for apricot but never got it. Galaxy throws a subtle passionfruit in the mix and more citrus punch. Cashmere sprinkles a little lime, a different, pithy, grapefruit edge, and a smidge of zesty lime. Mosaic subtleties include some vague, berry hints, some firm grassiness, and more earthy tones. Plenty of earthiness; solid bitter.
F- Mouthfeel is superb. That soft creaminess allows all that flavor play.
Very, very, solid, juicy, creamy NEIPA.
