Thai Mangosteen, the queen of fruit, blends seamlessly with tender Georgia peaches and sweet California strawberries. Sweet, tart and thick Thai smoothie stand vibes encompass this sour ale.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 6/22/21, had 8/2/21.

Pours a hazy orange, somewhat thick looking, with a brief quarter inch head and no lacing. Smells tart and earthy. Aromas of lychee, peach, mango, some unripe banana. Flavors of peach, unripe banana, mango, light strawberries, a general citrus flavor- notably orange. Smooth, somewhat creamy, a very good lighter body, appropriately carbonated.

Have only had mangosteen a couple of times, but it seems fairly prominent here, although peach and strawberry are two taste highlights of it, that are both added separately to this. The peaches also star. Not sure why I pick out mango in this, but I did. Overall, very enjoyable.

The aroma is all fruit. I can detect peach, a mix of tropical fruit aromas.

The look is, to be frank, ugly. Opaque murky ripe pineapple juice brownish-yellow, with a head that disappears so fast it was completely gone by the time I put down the camera. Too opaque to tell if there is any carbonation within, but there are sparse tiny bubbles poking up around the edge and quickly disappearing. The color is, as I wrote, murky but that is only the beginning. There are large light-colored lumps held in suspension by the apparently thick body. There is no lacing, but it does leave a bit of fruit-juice pulp residue on the side of the glass as I drink. If I saw a companion at the bar drinking this, I might ask what he is having, but only to avoid it when I order. Ugly.

The taste does redeem the look. Nicely tart and sweet, but not overly so on either one. It is pretty much a hard fruit smoothie. There is very little in the flavor that tells you this is a beer. Taking it for what it is, I am enjoying it. Plenty of fruit flavors intermixed. Some peach, but not as obvious as in the aroma. Tropical fruits abound. Since I've never experienced Thai Mangosteen, I have to describe the flavor with fruits I have experienced. It is vaguely pineapple with a bit of melon. I also pick up the promised strawberry, but just a touch. As I wrote, very nice and enjoyable. The beer is fruity-tart throughout, no bitterness, a bit sweet with the tartness lingering in the finish and aftertaste, offsetting the sweetness.

The body is moderately thick (but not as thick as the appearance/suspension hinted).

Overall, a very very good fruit smoothie sour. Even so, this is not something I would ordinarily reach for when wanting a beer. Quintessentially, a beer than does not taste like a beer.

Pours a dark matte orange color, completely opaque and rather thick. It looks like an orange juice smoothie. Thin off-white head forms on the beer and then dissipates.

Aroma has strong fruity notes reminiscent of fruit juice. Peach, orange, tropical fruits, strawberries - just a delicious juicy aroma. Slight tartness to the nose, but between that and the fruit thats about it.

Taste follows the nose with rich fruity notes - peach, orange, strawberries, tropical fruits, with a moderate tartness . I will say that the last pour has the fruit sediment and it gave it this weird, unpleasant overly ripe fruit note. My recommendation is to leave the last bit of the beer in the can and skip it.

Feel is thick, creamy, smoothie like. Bright carbonation.

As fruited kettle sours go, this is very nice - fruit driven with no weird adjuncts added in.

Probably the first beer I’ve had with mangosteen. It pours a cloudy thick orange/mango color quickly dissipating head and lacing. Smell is tart with mango strawberry lychee and peach. Taste follows nose ripe mango and lychee ,some peach. Mouth feel is ripe and with fresh fruit and some tartness,
