Inspired by wild berry pancakes, this pastry sour contains juicy blackberries, tart raspberries, and cooling blueberries blended with maple drenched vanilla flapjacks, and dusted with cinnamon. Ooey Gooey campsite breakfast in a can.

Pours a blueberry purée purple. A finger of pink suds rises and quickly falls. No purée or other sediment is present at first glance. Nose is very sweet syrup even from a distance, a medley of fruit and juice, a creamy vanilla marshmallow, and finishing a tart base. Taste follows suit with an overarching sour base taking the lead with everything else falling in line as subtly notes, maple and blueberries being the star. Finishes a crisp and sharp feel, not much softness or creaminess to it as you would expect. Overall; decent. Have had a lot better in this style.

16 oz can, dated 9/12/21, into Rastal glass.
Pours a thick mauve color, like pureed berries. Head begins at 3 fingers but fizzles within seconds leaving a burgundy ring. The head leaves some berry skins and other junk on the sides of the glass, but there's no floaties that I can see. It's still a little unsightly, but nothing as bad as Drekker (is anything?). Not a huge fan of these chunky junky sours.
Wow, lots of maple syrup on the nose. It's mostly maple syrup with a little tart culture behind it and finally a bit of berries behind that. Not as decadent or as complex as I like these types of sours to be but it's definitely got the maple going on.
Flavor is tart and jammy berries out front, with hints of maple powder and pancake batter following. Very slight cinnamon if you try hard. This isn't particularly as sweet as it is tart (not sour). I'm okay with that. Finishes on some lingering buzzing sour character and blackberry seeds. Basically a jammy dark berry sour with a little bit of breakfast inspiration.
Feel is slick and carbonated with lots of buzzing from the sour culture and a tannic finish. Not much alcohol, hidden pretty well. Drinks fast.
Overall, it's drinkable but not particularly noteworthy. Something like this has been done much better by other breweries (SG's Blueberry Banana Pancake Hill comes to mind, without the excessive adjuncts or mess), and it struggles to find comfortable footing in its flavor profile. Glad I only grabbed a single.
It's good, not great. Likely won't return unless I find it on clearance for like $10 a 4 pack.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku glass from a one pint can on November 7, 2021. This one is well made with a nice look and full body. The aromas and flavors just don't work together in my opinion.
