Humble Forager Foggy Footpath DDH DNEIPA, 8.1% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a 5+ finger white head that left great foamy lacing. Nose is vague citrus, taste follows, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Decent creamy mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Canned 3/24/22 (14 weeks out)

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (25% clarity) medium and bright orange color with a massive white head. SRM of 6-7. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, tangerine, pineapple, some tropical guava and peach. Cirusy and sort of light. (4.25)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, tangerine, guava, peach, papaya. Blends nicely. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. A creamy, soft mouthfeel that provides a smooth and soft finish. Creamy (4.50)

Compared to Falling Knife Hidden Temple 7/5/22: Pours a lighter color, larger head. Stronger aromas. More flavors all around. More tangerine, guava, papaya, peach. Winner: Foggy Footpath

Overall: A really nice IPA especially given the age on this one. It has strong flavors of orange, tangerine, pineapple, guava, and peach. Flavorful, but what really makes it is the creamy, full, soft body. (Rating: 4.28)

16oz can canned March 24, 2022 into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
L: Pours medium hazy orange gold color w/a 2.5" off white foamy head w/a cap, very good retention then to a skin, low carbonation, random sticky lacing.
S: Mango, light pineapple, orange, citrus zest, alcohol fairly fast as the beer warms.
T: Sweet orange, pineapple, light berries, melon, mango, papaya, citrus zest, sweet caramelized malts, a hint of breadiness, light alcohol as the beer warms. It is gently tart & sharp w/some bitterness lingering.
F: Gently crisp then caressingly soft medium heavy mouthfeel w/a wet, medium-length, clean & drying finish.
O: A full flavored fruity, soft and buoyant ddh double IPA. Lightly sweet with firm attention to hops. It is outstanding in it's style.

Pours light almost straw gold and hazed. Very fluffy head. Lingers well with excellent lacing.

Tropical aromas (pineapple and papaya) meld with some dank chivy ones.

Lemon, grapefruit, papaya, chive, white pepper, and blackberry. A touch of resin.

Medium bodied. Very drying and carbonated.

Another good HF.
