Kettle sour meets smoothie. I'm usually skeptical. However, I've enjoyed HFB brews in the past.
Pours fairly full and thick. Looks like apricot nectar. Very little head and it's gone in a flash. Zero lacing. All expected.
Aromas of peach, apricot, mango, white grape, and lime. Similar flavors--nectarine, peach, apricot first, then white wine and citrus, then some white pepper, and some elusive but detectable brine. The close is expected but restrained tartness--granny smith apple and sour plum.
Smooth, but not sticky. Medium-full but not heavy. Not drying or refreshing, but still fairly easy-drinking.
Torn on this one. Not about whether it's a good beer--It's a brew I will definitely have again. I want to kick this one up a notch on the rating, but it needed just a little more tartness, or maybe a little more brine. It feels a little too sweet. I'm still coming back to this one to see if it just hit me wrong on this first foray.

Part sour, part sea and all smoothie, Humble Forager thwarts off any threat of scurvy with a mango, tangerine, pineapple, and calamansi fruitiness that's basically a tropical vacation for the tastebuds.
Coastal Sunshine returns with a unique variety of fruit flavors while displaying a creamy and foggy golden taupe appearance. Highly juicy in its scent, a radiant perfume of citrus, tropical and tangy vinous aromas align on the nose before a leading taste of cereal, cream and taffy start to emerge.
Those base candied flavors are prefect for the abundance of fruits that carry a citrusy taste of lemon, lime, gooseberry, crabapple, white wine and passionfruit nuance. Cidery, wine and tangy, the taste takes a juicier and more succulent tone with mango, orange and pineapple in true smoothie form. Developing sourness pulls from the fruits an tightens its grip on the late palate with a cleaner balancing edge.
Full for sour ale, but moderate for most ale, the creamy fruitiness celebrates high flavors with the sacrifice of dryness, crispness and refreshment. Easily mistaken for a creamier sangria or alcoholic fruit punch, this smoothie finishes creamy and dry with a linger of lactic sourness.
