Our Hazy Double IPA is packed with Nelson Sauvin and Citra all the way through the brewing process. Brewed with a larger percentage of soft white wheat and oats. The combination of these ingredients creates a gentle texture with a huge hop profile.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (0% clarity) medium to deep, dusky orange color with a massive white head. SRM of 9. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of Orange, grape, sweet, pineapple, peacharine. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange and grapefruit citrus, tropical, melon, berries, grape. A bitter, tangerine, peach and pine flavor off the end. Mildly better. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier body, appropriate carbonation, finishes, heavy, slightly with a bitter finish. (4.00)
Compared to Hop Butcher Kielbasa King 4/2024: Pours darker, milder head. More tangerine, orange, peacharine, and pine. Less grape, berries, melon. More bitter and resinous. Less juicy.
Compared to Hop Butcher Presto Change-O 4/2024: Pours darker, hazier. Stronger aromas. More peacharine, tangerine. Less orange, melon, berry juiciness. More pine bitterness and sweeter/heavier.
Overall: A great and smaller brewery out of Minneosta. They make some great NEIPAs. Usually very smooth and malt forward. This one fits that bill. Pours dark. Heavy mouthfeel. Citra and Nelson here. I get a lot of tangerine, peacharine, with a bitter piney finish. It's not your usual NEIPA because its more malt forward and bitter than you'd expect. The Citra and Nelson sort of get lost in the heavier body and malt. I have to say it packs a ton of flavor and I actually enjoy the piney bitterness here. It's just different than most, which is often what I've noticed with Humble Forager IPAs. A great brewery with great IPAs if you can find them fresh.
