Notable notes of creamy chocolate, rolled caramel, fresh coffee and malt lead the flavor. This creamy dark finishes smooth and refreshing from the 6 week conditioning period. Our blend between oatmeal stout and Czech dark lager drinking smooth and finishing clean.

16 ounce can, thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a clear dark brown color with about an inch tan head. Head retention is good, and there's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice but a bit subtle, the brew smells like dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, caramel and a bit of smokiness. Taste is similar to the aroma but with more of a kick, and there's also some dark fruit and earthy flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future, worth trying if you're able to!

Look: It pours dark brown wtih good clarity. It has a tan head with below average head retention.

Smell: There are some toasty elemets in the aroma with cola elements. There are also some dark fruits that feature a combination of plums and blueberries.

Taste: There are some toasted elements with licorice. There are light smoky elements with plums and blue berries.

Feel: It has a medium body with a finish on the sweet side.

Overall: A very flavorable beer with plenty of different malt elements.

Dancing Skies pours a very dark, almost black, with a small, but long-lasting head. The aroma is smoky and sweet, with a roasted cereal note. The flavor is much the same, sweet, and smoky roasted cereal note. Good feel. Overall, very flavorful, yet light enough, and very approachable.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This monster pours a dark blackish brown
with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thin ring. Nose of
subtle chocolate, faint coffee, and dark roasted malts. Flavors surpass the
nose with chocolate, coffee, cream, brown sugars, subtle tobacco, and
faint dark fruits. Mouth feel is smooth, rich, medium light carbonation,
and a balanced sweet finish.

Overall, a fantastically balanced dark lager!

Cheers
