Blazing Trails pours a darker, clean brown with a small but long-lasting head. The aroma is mild, but creamy with hints of chestnuts. The flavor is a little light, but still full, sweet, dark sugary cereal, hint of nuts, a hint of salt. Good feel. Overall, it's a mellow but flavorful, still brown ale.
