Collaboration with Angry Chair
Barrel-aged stout
Adjuncts - pistachios, cacoa nibs and toasted coconut
This focused sweet stout was aged in barrels since September of 2022 developing layers of flavor. After removing the beer from barrels we conditioned the blend on Toasted coconut flakes, roasted pistachios and roasted cocoa nibs.

Dense and viscous opaque pour; ink black body; no head. Rich, alluring scent; dark roasted malts with dark pitted fruits; raisins, figs, dates; port wine; tobacco juice. Dense, sumptuous flavors; milk and baker's chocolate; roasted nuts; initially subliminal bourbon undercurrent with a touch of cherry sweetness, bolder whiskey taste at the finish. Heavy, chewy body; dense residual sugars; sticky; soft, glowing alcohol warmth throughout.
This is a collaboration with Angry Chair, and what a collaboration this is! The beer is incredibly rich and complex with the deep chocolate tones and bourbon barrel aging at the fore but not dominating the big picture of this beer. There is no ABV listed on the label, but the current BA listed ABV of 14% seems to be in the right neighborhood. I'm glad I stumbled upon this beer at my favorite local. It was only available in singles, and this is the sole bottle I got. I"m glad I took the plunge.
ABV: n/a; pouring temperature: 57.6 °F; bottling info: n/a

Low carb. Coconut, nutty, brownie. But not overly sweet or thick, but still long lasting flavor that isnt cloying. Very well balanced.
