Pours a hazy gold into my pint glass. Off-white foam that dissipates quickly; no lacing.

The aroma is mildly grassy and floral. The taste is not what I expected for a (as described by the brewery) blonde beer; the hint of spice + the grassy bitterness seems more like a saison - it was pleasantly unexpected. The finish is slightly spicy, then lingers with a sweet taste.

The inadvertent cellaring seems to have worked in this beer’s favor; I wish I had a fresher example to compare it with.

Purchased at the brewery shop in June 2019; lost in the fridge and opened April 7, 2020. Best before date on bottle is April 11, 2021.
