A malt forward ale with a deep amber color. Specialty malts deliver flavors of caramel, toffee, toasted, and a touch of chocolate and roast. Hop levels are low with a faint bitterness and mild floral aroma. Medium to medium-full bodied.

I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, WI. It poured a clear amber with off white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle sweet malt base. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

This is a 12oz. bottle poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. Initially there were two fingers of a very nice looking tan head, then after several minutes I have a little lacing and still most of a finger of foam left. Very nice retention. The beer is deep amber, with plenty of carbonation.
The aroma is a roasted malt, slightly sweet.
The flavor has the mildly sweet roasted caramel with just a slight touch of bitterness to cut the sweetness at the finish.
This is a very smooth beer, easy to drink. I do wonder what the ABV is?

Sort of a light Scottish ale? Color and smell are spot and the initial taste is good and then holy hops. It really thins out the flavor of what you think will be something good but just leaves you disappointed after each drink.

Cloudy blood red with no head. Pleasantly mild aroma of toasted nuts. Tasted burnt sweet caramel with green leafy hops. Overly carbonated like champagne. Overall, not a boring beer! Lots going on. Maybe too much... recommend they use less hops for better balance.

More like a porter than a Scottish Ale in my opinion
